A Great Dane named Echo might not have become a puppy yet – they wanted to euthanize her, since she was born completely blind and deaf. Fortunately, the baby was saved – at 12 weeks old, she was taken to her home by a new mistress, Marion.

A little later, something wonderful happened. Marion found out she was pregnant. Echo seemed to understand even then that her future best friend lives in her mistress’s stomach. She paid special attention to Marion during this period and it was very touching. When little Jenny was born, Echo immediately fell in love with her. They were inseparable from the very beginning and did everything together: ate, hugged, played.
