She even has a rather dubious nickname – “devil’s dog”. So, what are the reasons for such a nickname? Firstly, it is connected with innate dexterity and strength. Secondly, the color speaks of mortal danger. Thirdly, the dog, which helps the police in the search for criminals, cannot be “kind and fluffy”.

It is important that in the USA this dog is used in security services much more often than German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Rottweilers. Another historical fact is the use of Dobermans by the US Navy during the hostilities of 1939-1945. During the Vietnam War, representatives of this particular breed were used for military purposes. In 1897, the first Doberman Pinscher dog show was held in Erfurt, and in 1899 the first Doberman Pinscher club was established in Apolda. A year later, the club changed its name to the “National Doberman Pinscher Club of Germany”. The purpose of this club was to breed, popularize and further develop this breed of dog. Since the creation of this club, the number of this breed has already amounted to more than 1000 representatives.
